Board Advisor

If you are a student looking to volunteer as an intern for college credits at the Kedner Stiven Foundation, I will be happy to review the documents that your Chairperson wants our organization to consider with my colleagues. Likewise, if you would like your students (you are a professional from an academic institution or a parent) to become one of our unpaid interns either as a high school student looking to do community service, or as a college student who wants to gain experience in one of the volunteer roles available (except accountant), I will be the person in charge. The student and I will set milestones together, evaluate progress during the practicum, ensure the fulfillment of requirements for professional growth.
The description above gives an idea about ways I help within the Foundation besides cooperating with my peers.
As a former Executive Director of Canteens for the Children of Haiti, Inc., I consider myself a true philanthropist and a passionate education advocate. With over 16 years teaching mathematics for the NYC Board of Education, I have extensive experience in public education.
I travel regularly to my native land to provide workshops and professional developments to pedagogues. I believe that children are our greatest treasure and that we must do everything in our power to enable them to access education. This is the reason why I have embraced the mission of the Kedner Stiven Foundation because we build schools and feed the children. I am also in favor of adequate access to healthcare for every child in every corner of the world.
